breaths, and exhale slowly to awaken your energy and to release old patterns.’”
Ah, breathing. We
don’t often pay attention to it, but when we do, it has the power to bring
calmness and enables us to be better centered.
In this busy world, breathing is a fabulous tool for helping us get
through our busy and sometimes stressful days.
And what about old patterns? Many, if not all of us, have old patterns
that we want to be rid of. Next time we
think of a trait that we want to change, take a few deep breaths and envision
that trait disappearing into the air you are breathing out. Also, the next time you become aware that you
are breathing deeply or sighing, take a moment to think about what made you
sigh and envision that stress evaporating.
I don’t often dwell on the negative things, but perhaps I should take a
few moments, do some deep breathing and focus on those negative things and let
them dissipate into the air and allow them to be filled with positive
energy.
