The sun is a very important and powerful astrological influence.  Your zodiac sign is determined by where the sun was when you were born, and that sign is also referred to as your sun sign.

A birthday is referred to a ‘solar return’.  It is when the sun has returned to the same location as it was on the day you were born.  I find that on my solar return I can feel an increase of energy in my soul.  For me, it is a time of renewal.

The sun represents where we shine in terms of our personality and skills.  It represents our personal power and creativity and our conscious mind. 

Can you feel a burning desire inside to just be ‘you’?  Can you feel a surge of personal power and creativity?  This could be the sun’s influence on you.  The sun wants you to shine.
