Seek Solitude and Take Your Time

Cards: “Seek Solitude” and “Take Your Time”
From: Trust Your Vibes by Sonia Choquette

Today I pulled the “Seek Solitude” card, which I had just pulled on January 18, which was 11 days ago.  Here is the original post: Seek Solitude  It’s interesting that the only other repeat card was pulled 11 days previous, too.  Eleven is a magical number.  I’ll have to ponder why I’m getting cards again 11 days later.  I like synchronicity!  It helps me to know what I should focus on.  And I just remembered that just two days ago I gave all decks a good shuffle.  So what a coincidence, eh?

Since I pulled a repeat card, I decided to pull another card to augment the first card’s message, and to help clarify why the card was chosen a second time.  The second card was “Take Your Time”.

Seeking solitude is not only about being alone, it is also about rest.  We are going through some stressful times full of growth and in order for our brains and bodies to keep up with this growth we should take some quiet time to be by ourselves either to reflect or to just rest.

Take time to work through these periods of new growth.  We can all take our time because there is no rush.  But if ‘taking time’ becomes avoidance through procrastination, then we should take a look at the reason why.  I also talk about procrastination in my You Know What To Do post.

Wow, a partial rainbow just formed as I’m looking out my window.  I can see a snow flurry squall quickly coming my way, too.  But it’s not quite reaching me.  The rainbow is getting stronger.  It’s been less than five minutes, and the flurry squall is dissipating.  I look out onto a harbour, and the squall moved up the harbour very quickly towards me but then seemed to be held back by the rainbow about three kilometers away.  The flurry squall never reached me.  I’ve lived in this place for almost a year, and I’ve never seen a rainbow in that direction ever before.  There is a message in the rainbow vs. flurries event.  I really feel it means that love keeps the nasties away.  It’s been about 10 minutes now, and the squall is completely gone, and there’s blue sky out there now.

We may see the trouble coming, and we may experience some of it, but after all is said and done there will be glorious blue sky after it’s gone.

Today, allow the love, the rainbow, the sun, take away the ‘squalls’ in your life.

Love,
Val ♥
